really fun puzzle game! takes a minute to wrap your head around how things tie together, but it feels really magical when it all clicks.

Pleasure to see how far Gordian has come since 2022 itch.io build 👏 . Polish and updated graphics aside, the core puzzle-solving satisfaction is all still here and is what really makes this game so special

I've never been good at puzzle games (they're not really my cup of tea) but Gordian was enjoyable enough to keep me entertained. I enjoyed pursuing a number of knots that I knew beforehand, but that was it. There's a few minor hints, but it's relatively hands-free, with the player expected to experiment and practice until they get tired and tire of playing. There are drawings in the game to help you out, but I did not find them too helpful in my pursuit of a new knot. The abstractness just didn't resonate with me. I need to give this game more time. It's a very relaxing atmosphere and the polish is superb. Minor things like the music choice, color choice, and overall vibe make this a fun, "open this game up and see what happens" sort of title. I'd recommend this game for knot lovers and people looking to relax after a long day of not knotting knots.
