This game is a way less stressful version of darkest dungeon with a card system. Really low barrier to entry. Fun to play. Good amount of charcters to choose from for your personal play style.
It's actually a great game. I am someone who appreciates games where the micro adjustments of your characters is fun for me. This game allows you to customize just about everything which I will describe below. Gear - you get different pieces of gear and anyone can wear anything assuming you have the proper stats. The gear has different abilities that come with it or stat bonuses. You can also add both gems into the gear to add extra effects/double the added ability into your deck, and also enchant the gear with random effects which is cool. You can also reroll the gear for completely different effects. Character - you build your own skill grid similar to final fantasy 10 except you build the grid yourself and slot the level ups. This is how you build your deck, which gives you lots of control. You can reduce the size of your max deck to make things more potent, add cards, upgrade cards, add stats, remove cards to add stats, take on perks, and some other things I likely forgot. It has lots of different characters and builds to try, and is definitely a worthwhile experience. I played on nightmare on the campaign mode and just beat it at the time of this review. Don't let the generic title and character designs of this game stop you from getting it. Its fantastic. The gameplay is really fun and you can customize everything from difficulty to your talent trees. It's got a ton of replay potential and decks to choose from. You can pick any of the characters you like for your group there's no set way to play. This is well worth the money if you like deck builders or even dungeons crawlers.
- you are shopping an item and it doesn't display what the hero is currently wearing, so you need to click between shop and the inventory - card description says something (Haste Upgrade), but wait a minute, there's a hidden restriction that's not even mentioned on the card maybe it's good eventually, but the latter really got on my nerve (especially the fact, that the issue was mentioned in 2020 and still not patched)
