About Graze Counter

Graze the enemy’s bullets, Charge them head-on, and Wreak Havoc!!
An exhilarating and dangerous shoot-em-up!
This is a game for those with courage and survival instinct!

It is the 23rd century, and the virtual network “EDEN” has brought about an era of peace and prosperity. One day, it refuses access from the administrator – seemingly out of nowhere.
The 2.4 million civilians connected to the network became hostages within cyberspace.
EDEN then presented humanity with an ultimatum:
To release those hostages, a human must fight the now evolved network and win. Two capable fighter pilots have been chosen for this difficult task.
The fate of humanity is in their hands…

Graze the enemy’s bullets to charge the Graze Counter Gauge! Every fighter can use this gauge to unleash powerful counters.
In addition, by collecting the stars that enemies (and countered bullets) drop, you can charge your Break Gauge. When this is full, you can enter “Break Mode” and do some serious damage to your enemies!
Dodge your enemy’s bullets by a hair, charge your energy, and annihilate the enemy with your counterattack!

I didn't like the presentation with no proper intro and the minimally drawn anime schoolgirls. I didn't like there were so many options and tutorial screens before getting into the game itself. I didn't like the story or lack thereof with the nonsensical monologue interludes between levels. I didn't like the limited number of levels (5) and short length of around 45 minutes for one run. And I didn't like the high difficulty and barrages of bullets that sometimes seemed unavoidable without the activated Graze counter. However, I kind of liked the tight controls and the gameplay, the grazing gimmick in particular where you gradually built up a gauge that gave you a super laser beam and invincibility. It was quick to recharge with admittedly exciting risk and could be used to survive when the screen got too busy, which alleviated something I hate in bullet hells. That being said, normal difficulty was too much for me. I'm not going to recommend unless you're a fan of that genre, unless you get it cheap and to counteract the high percentage of very positive reviews, something I find misleading. Besides, there's a newer, better version that exists called Graze Counter GM.12 found this helpful
graze close to a bullet to charge meter then let loose a powerful energy wave. Collect stars charge a meter then let loose another energy wave. pixel graphics
game is very fun and cute, while the newer version is great id still play this
Approved.
You play as cute girls piloting some cool space craft. Fun, fast, and requires a lot of precision. Took me a few hours to get good at it. Continue playing, and you'll be rewarded. The April Divider craft is really sweet looking. Makes me wish this wasn't a pixel art game. -The translation work seems a little sloppy. Crystal Labylinth? Is that intended to be Crystal Labyrinth, or is that a backwards joke? Sometimes character's names are shown as they talk, sometimes not. This confused me into thinking sometimes my character might be talking. I skip over all the dialogue. This game's story is ignorable. Practice mode has an invincible option, but it lists invisible. -As I've seen typical of Henteko Doujin games, your Xbox 360 controllers triggers can't be binded to any controls. -After you've started the game, you can only quit by dying. Kinda sucks when I realize I'm in emergency need of PRINGLES HONEY MUSTARD CHIPS. Arcade games should be faster than this. Otherwise I can press Esc on my keyboard and be asked "QuitH?" Is that H for hentai? Is this supposed to be a hentai game and I've been unaware? Is that the story of the game? It's also annoying that the menus pressure me to…
Honestly the game is pretty good, most of the problems i had were with the engine so...
