About Greyhat - A Digital Detective Adventure

In GREYHAT, you play as yourself, an infamous hacker-for-hire with skills and abilities that allow you to infiltrate any computer. One day, you complete a job only to discover that you have crossed some very powerful people, and in their revenge your daughter is taken.

To right this wrong you must hack into other people's computers, look through their files, read their emails, mess with their software, and find clues that may lead you closer to bringing your daughter home.

In GREYHAT, you will:
  • Steal from a pharmaceutical giant incriminating Test Reports that show their product to be unsafe
  • Hack into air traffic control to help land multiple planes flying blind due to an AI glitch
  • Stop an aggressive rogue nation from launching a nuke by accessing their submarine's computer systems
  • Help leak a secret list containing the name of every single member of a controversial Neo-Nazi organization
  • Bring justice to a murdered woman by identifying the killer in a case left cold by police inaction
  • And many, many more!

Game Features:
  • A gripping techno-thriller story about love, loss, and the lengths a parent would go to for their child
  • Learn to think, act, and react like a hacker
  • Choose how you respond in text chats with allies and foes alike, each with their own personality and agenda
  • A wide variety of mind-racking levels, each with their own unique setting, puzzles, clues, twists and mini-games
  • Read text logs, emails, journal notes and browsing histories that reveal the true nature of your targets behind the public mask they wear
  • Clues, passwords, and solutions are randomized. Every play through is different!
  • GREYHAT aims to immerse you in its world. Play as yourself, with your own name, gender and hacker alias
  • Collectibles in the form of side-stories, poems, wallpapers, and cryptocurrency can be found in each level
  • An estimated playtime of 10-15 hours, depending on how good a detective you are

The game is truly not meant for everyone. If you do not have an interest in digital puzzle games or investigating things or looking out of the box, you will not have a fun time with this. But if you do, you certainly will. Some of the missions here are challenging, some are simple. The plot is interesting but the OST is a bit mundane especially with the tunnelfox system it puts you through. Luckily there's a feature where you can let the game do it for you. Overall, I would recommend it but please consider looking at the different reviews and walkthroughs and determine if it's something you'd wanna buy.

The story of this one hits hard and is very well thought out. Not much QoL settings, but I believe the story more than makes up for it.

An amazing effort for a solo developer game. It's easy to poke holes here and there, some uneven writing, some dodgy UI... But the gist of it is that we had a lot of fun and at the end of the day it's all that matters ! The puzzles are pretty good, the mystery is enticing, there's some really original mechanics in there that would be worth exploring a lot more. Overall, it's definitely worth the time and money. Thanks a lot for making the game!

This is a very unique puzzle game where you hack computers to find the right information you need to solve a set of tasks. It is satisfying to piece together the information and solve the problem. Enjoyed played through it. I was able to crack each puzzle on my own using just a notepad so I think the difficulty was just perfect. Some of them took a couple of tries to get right. It's very similar to the game "The Roottrees Are Dead" which I loved too.

After Orwell and Cyber Manhunt, this game scratched an itch I had for a long time and it did so very well. It didn't turn out the way I expected, but ... I'm satisfied. Well done, would play again.

I loved this game! Some of the puzzles are a bit tedious, I would recommend for a sequel having an option where the player can have multiple documents or files open at once. But otherwise, it was great! I'm currently in search of recommendations similar to this, it kept me entertained for several days. I feel like most games like this I can do in one sitting. If anyone has any recommendations, let me know!
