This game is something that I grabbed on sale as it was similar to other games I have played and enjoyed. I was aware others thought highly of it, although some mentioned its repetitive nature. As I picked this up on sale I think for the money it is great, I went through about 4 generations before I started to see characters repeated albeit in different combos. The scenes themselves I often find repeat but at least there is a skip button. Whilst the game itself is fairly straight forward, I think only in my latter few generations have I really started to develop any sort of strategy that pretty much guarantees an A in the end game and therefore unlocking good endings. This game could do will a little more cause and effect to be better, as getting suspended or picked up by the police really has no gameplay ramifications. I feel like I was a teenage exocolonist nails this better, and I like the fact you moved the character which this game lacks. I would also like that if you do something that would boost happiness (such as eat, listen to music etc) or as mentioned earlier get suspended, or go to an R-rated movie, that, this is directly then influencing happiness and pa…

This game is only about 30ish hours long but I can't stop thinking about it. God, I wish there were more. I wish you could play into your adulthood. I loved all of the storylines--Alicia is my favorite. I agree with some of the other reviews left on here though about Flick's romance being kind of weird. Her: *worst moment of her life* Us: wanna make out? Just terrible lol but we're teenagers it's whatever, I can get over it LMAO. Once you learn the game mechanic for getting points and skills up, everything is really easy to accumulate. Sure I might be a depressed elementary kid but it's all about that GRIND BAYBEE just go buy another hamburger!! I would die if they released a 'grown-up' DLC as it were where you get to play as your adult self or even just your college years, but I am sure it takes a really long time to add more storylines and activities to the game. Anyway, the game is really good. Get it on sale if you're baulking at the price vs. playtime. Full price or half price, this is just a nice game to play and it's worth it either way.
