After beating this game, I cannot in sound mind recommend it. The game takes place over 10 years and of those years the first 4 are the only ones that don't breeze by with no weight. I LOVED the first 4 years and honestly, year 4 feels like the climax of the story. There's actual meaning to your time and you need to be really on top of what you do and what stats you have, what you're unlocking, and how much you're exploring and succeeding at the end of it is incredibly satisfying. HOWEVER, after that, nothing seems to matter as much. I got a good ending passively, I just picked up colony defence points as I went through the game and ended up being rewarded with 6 paragraphs telling me how I won the big battle with no real threat. I was so unsatisfied by this that I turned the game off without reading the ending stuff. the next day I came back and reloaded the whole year. I was still disappointed. After year 17, it feels like you're spoon-fed every way to beat the game while also having no idea how to get there, and only one feels like it would be in any way climactic but I honestly can't be bothered to go back again. None of the characters have any kind of development, they're …1 found this helpful
Good writing and fun lil stat raising game, I enjoyed that multiple playthroughs could feel different but will say some character / routes seemed heavily favored based on attention and complexity they had.
An overall good game. Fun gameplay, gorgeous art, compelling storyline. However, the romance is rather lackluster, and while the game is designed for replayability, even by your second playthrough things become tedious and boring as not enough changes to keep things new and refreshing. I'd recommend you play this game as long as you're not buying it mainly for the romance/dating-sim elements. 8/10
I love it
I really loved this game. Despite the name of it, it's actually quite serious and really well explored setting and story, and every ending I got made me want to fight more to do more on the next playthrough. A+ writing and storytelling, a very addictive stat building/princess maker type visual novel =)
it was fun but also bittersweet
