The time-traveling vigilante Hank has been captured by the devious Unraveler. However, before the crime genius gets rid of the hero, he must satisfy his curiosity - How has this pathetic drunk so easily thwarted so many of his plans? Will Hank be able to use the villain's obsessions against him to escape from this grim situation? Hank: Straightjacket is a narrative bite-sized game combining traditional point-and-click gameplay with a time manipulation mechanic.

A very short dialogue-puzzle-based game that serves as an introduction to Hank and his rival, the Unraveller, and the dynamic between them. I admit, the gameplay itself isn't supremely novel. The ability to rewind time isn't THAT meaningfully different from a save/load system (although a lot more convenient), but it does have some bearing on the plot and characters. It's a nice little bite-sized intro for the only slightly larger paid follow-up release "Hank: Drowning on Dry Land," which is still very modestly priced ($3 at time of writing) and absolutely worth at least a look if you find the characters and premise appealing, and expands the dialogue puzzle concept to sit alongside some other light puzzles.1 found this helpful
This a teaser to Hank: Drowning on Dry Land. The preview video though is slightly misleading as the actual game leaves Hank's thoughts unsaid, and the player thinking for themselves. The ending? A cliff-hanger. I'm not too sure if there is much more than the cliff-hanger, but I will say there is no voiced audio unlike in the preview. The voiced content is in Hank: Drowning on Dry Land, and that is, in-fact, a much better experience. You'll come back to this because you want more Hank content like I did. Super tiny, pretty cool. Incredibly excited to see everything else these people have made. Vibes are immaculate.
A fun little scene to play around with, intuitive, good writing, nice and punchy. Definitely gets me in the mood for more. Nice work!
It's a little glitchy. You can interrupt Unraveler when he's about to shoot you by asking him about something else, and then when he's done talking about that he forgets to shoot you.
very short, but the artstyle is pretty cool, and it runs quite well.
