Happy New Year Christmas Time Story book

"Happy New Year, Zeliria!" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This is another garbage e-book about the author and his imaginary anime girlfriends. It's as cringey as it is creepy as the author explores his various relationships with imaginary anime girls. This one is mostly just an advertisement for a longer, even cringier e-book called "Zeliary Sanctuary", but the author also locked some content behind paid DLC. Why does an advertisement for a cringey e-book need paid DLC?? Why do Steam Direct e-book authors write about nothing but imaginary anime girlfriends? This is pure cringe. This was slapped together with the godawful Ren'Py visual novel construction kit... enabling terrible author…

Игра "Happy New Year, Zeliria!" – милая и уютная визуальная новелла, идеально подходящая для создания праздничного настроения. Сюжет довольно прямолинеен, но очарователен: группа друзей готовится к Новому Году в волшебном мире Зелирии. Персонажи яркие и запоминающиеся, каждый со своим характером и небольшим кусочком личной истории. Визуальный стиль приятный, с красочными фонами и симпатичными спрайтами персонажей. Музыкальное сопровождение ненавязчивое и атмосферное, идеально дополняет происходящее на экране. Мне понравилось, что в игре есть несколько концовок, зависящих от выбора игрока, что добавляет ей реиграбельности. Однако, стоит отметить, что глубина сюжета не поражает воображение, и игра скорее ориентирована на более молодую аудиторию. Тем не менее, если вы ищете что-то легкое, расслабляющее и праздничное, чтобы скоротать пару часов, "Happy New Year, Zeliria!" – хороший выбор. Это отличный способ погрузиться в атмосферу волшебства и почувствовать приближение Нового Года.

Opened the game, tried to navigate the foreign language to find an option for English, couldn't find it, force closed the game, and somehow I had all the achievements, smh.
