About hate.net

a minimalistic FPS movement shooter. An energy drink-sized time capsule of endless fighting. A micro-world of bots in a perpetual state of meaningless conversation with each other. Stay as long as you like - they've fought long before you, and they'll fight long after you're gone.Master a simple and responsive player moveset, featuring sliding, jumping, and a double-jump that allows you to redirect your velocity. Kill enemies with your sword and gun and find unique interactions hidden in these mechanics.

You are a rare visitor in this world. Go deep into chasing high-scores and watch as enemies begin to target you, escalating the gameplay into chaos. Alternatively, sit back and observe the bots stuck in the endless cycle of violence.

Walk around the lobby and explore the world that houses none. Take it all in as the world hangs in a standstill, near entropy but never quite there...

Nah this ain't it fam. Awesome atmosphere, kick-ass soundtrack, and a very natural feeling gameplay/control scheme that allows you to jump right into the action but the lack of any discernible plot or story kind of kill off an otherwise full-of-potential environment. This sadly felt more like a flash game you'd play in computer science class in HS on Newgrounds or Ebaums or something. Achievements are based on madly frustrating and convoluted platforming with a double-jump mechanism that seems to pick and choose when it wants to work. The one boss fight, (allegedly the 'admin' of this dead server) you do encounter will pretty much drive you nuts with the visual sensory overload of what is transpiring on the screen in front of you if doesn't result in some sort of tonic-clonic seizure first. The game has picked up a small cult following of some decent and cool folks so I certainly won't disparage them but the game itself simply was not for me and not worth my money when you consider all the other indie options out there, plain and simple. It was one of those things that was fun to experience for an hour due to the music and overall artistic appreciation but there's just no point …

Such a vibe. It's a sweet little arena shooter, with some really interesting bits of humanity in the form of encounters you can find if you look hard enough <3. Awesome visual style and MORE than worth the price of admission!! Highly recommend getting! It deserves much more love than the Steam algorithm is giving it.

For 5 bucks, this is a good game to get. It's small, maybe replayable (but im a completionist so I don't really want to) and fun for the most part. Doesn't seem to have a bunch of lore? Idrk

Good The future?

I seriously do not understand where does the game get all its positive reviews from. For not a score chaser, it contains ONE beatable level, ONE secret bossfight that mostly feels based on RNG, and ONE secret area that is so obscure I would never be able to reach it without a guide and its content was not even all that worth it. At first I thought it got such praises, because it costs something like 1€ when not on sale, but it is not even that. If there is some kind of an epiphany to be had from the game, I just don't get it.
