About Haus Of Irndrous

The StoryRyle received a strange letter from his father, after years of being away from home. In it, his father revealed that something had gone terribly wrong at the corporation where he worked. After a long journey, Ryle arrived deep within the Afgarn Mansion… and found that the security protocol had already been activated. The place was collapsing. He had only one option: find the key and get out before it was too late. The protocol was clear:“DO NOT speak to any experiments.”As he moved forward, Ryle confirmed that several laboratories were still operational. The company had attempted to alter human DNA… and failed, fatally. The experiments had survived. Mutated, hostile, and with unnatural abilities: phasing through walls, sensing movement… and something more. They already knew he was there. And they were waiting for him.BRIEF EXPLANATION OF THE GAME:MechanicsIn Haus of Irndrous, your stamina is limited—push yourself too hard, and you'll be in danger. Your flashlight is your only hope in the darkness, but it won’t always work. Each area contains puzzles that will test your observation and logic… all while you're being hunted by brutal enemies twisted by genetic experiments. They don't just want to catch you; they were designed to tear you apart.
Immersive NarrativeThe story in Haus of Irndrous isn't handed to you—it’s uncovered piece by piece. Hidden radios, scattered notes, and the mansion’s eerie atmosphere slowly reveal the truth. Each audio log provides clues to solve puzzles or fragments of the dark past of the Afgarn Corporation and its inhuman experiments. Exploration and curiosity are rewarded, making you an active part of the mystery.

80s-Inspired AtmosphereDive into a retro nightmare. Haus of Irndrous draws heavily from the 1980s, blending the mansion's decadent elegance with period technology—vintage radios, VHS-style visual and sound effects. The result is a deeply immersive experience that evokes classic psychological horror.Progression and ChallengeEvery conquered area raises the stakes. Enemies become more aggressive, puzzles more complex, and environments more oppressive. The constant sense of danger makes every bit of progress feel like a true victory.

Terrible game. The game barely makes any sense! The interior design is random nonsense, the graphics hurt the eyes and the enemies are incredibly stupid and not scary. I don't know why I have this game in my library for free. It's not even worth that.

This horror game is different compared to most of the games I've played. It's interesting in a way that despite the low fps and support for only 720p and 1080p, you still want to finish the game. It isn't bad in a sense, but it isn't considered good by my standards either. Scares are okay, I guess. I would say that two dollars is a, at least semi-fair price. Voice acting is top notch regardless. The game is enjoyable anyway.

I'm not gonna lie, this game is pretty flawed. The instructions were hard to understand (Which, translation issues, I get it, but it should be fixed), but also just don't tell you things half the time. The environments are very strangely laid out and confusing. The enemies are hard to understand, and kinda boring at the same time. The game feels linear at first, then opens up into a big maze of rooms, and it really could use an ingame map. Voice acting is hard to understand at times with the effects added, and don't even match the captions (Which are way too small to read after the first cut scene). I think this could be a good game, but it needs a lot of improvements. I like the colors though. Those are cool. Edit: Forgot to add!!! The settings are very lacking. Many quality settings (good for my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer) but lacking in everything alse (Language, captions, music+sound volume, etc) are not even there. This game gives you a really vague warning in the beginning for general content, and it doesn't at all share the flashing lights that could easily trigger an episode/migraine in someone photosensitive. The language is weird. It's a game seemingly translated from another la…
