About Heck Deck
Somewhere between a bullet hell and a card game…
Throughout 5 different stages, Heck Deck will challenge your precision and dexterity during the bullet hell phases and your strategy when using your cards. Each card you pick up will cost you at least one life point, so you will have to be careful about which ones you pick on your way.
The abstract and minimalist world of Heck Deck is created with a cute hand-drawn art style. Each level of the game has its own universe, its own music, its own set of enemies, and of course, its own boss.

Heck Deck main features:
- 5 different levels with their own music
- A cute hand-drawn art style
- One unique setting for each level
- Dozens of attacks and spells for the player
- Over 30 enemies and bosses
- A card purchase system via the shop
The strategy created by the use of cards mixed with the dexterity required during the bullet hell phases makes Heck Deck truly unique! Are you up to the challenge? Wishlist now!

pretty neat little game, cant say much about it since i havent played it too much but it's pretty nice!
Heck Deck is a bold and unconventional indie title that succeeds by confidently blending genres that rarely coexist comfortably. Developed by torcado and published by PID Games and Dear Villagers, the game fuses bullet hell intensity with card-based decision-making, resulting in an experience that constantly asks players to balance reflex-driven movement with calculated risk. Rather than feeling like a gimmick, this hybrid design forms the backbone of a tightly focused game that rewards experimentation, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace controlled chaos. At the heart of Heck Deck is a clever manipulation of time and danger. Time only advances when the player moves, transforming traditional bullet hell pressure into a more deliberate, almost turn-based dance of positioning and evasion. Enemy projectiles take the form of cards scattered across the battlefield, and collecting them often requires intentionally stepping into harm’s way. This creates a striking risk–reward dynamic where damage is not simply a failure state, but a currency used to gain power, build a deck, and unlock new tactical options. Every movement becomes meaningful, as players decide whether to preserve h…
interesting game mechanic, surprisingly fluid for what it is, nice ost. all in all, worth the price.
awesome
Heck Deck is yet another one of those "short-term addiction" games for me. it's one of those games I play on and off when i don't have time for others. while it does have its fair share of problems, i still do like it. first off, the main gameplay. you control a ghost who uses cards to attack, heal, and do other cool stuff. your opponents, which include shapes, bugs, and more, also use these cards as weapons. as you strategically play and get hit by cards to grow your arsenal, different enemies appear to slow your role, with a boss at the end of each level. after you beat said boss, you can spend your health at a shop to get new cards you might want for later. that's pretty much all there is to it. second, the pros. I really like the soundtrack, and the artstyle is very good-looking. the idea of dodging and playing cards in a bullet hell-style is really nice, too. but then, we get into the cons. my main gripes with this game come mainly from the controls and gameplay. there's no control scheme for both keyboard and mouse, instead requiring you to use WASD to move then stop in your tracks and switch to mouse for pinpoint aiming. Instead of being able to point yourself towards ene…
