Fun game but only has two levels rn (because it's early access, obviously)

Heist.exe is a clever little stealth game that I liked almost immediately because it turns a computer network into the actual level around me. I play as Agent Tehsi, a spy sent into digital facilities to recover stolen possessions while avoiding robotic guards. I really enjoyed how the game mixes stealth, puzzles and movement instead of making the whole experience about simply hiding from enemies. The levels are built around terminals, switches and environmental machines that let me change the layout of the network. I can open and close walls, create walkways and manipulate different parts of the environment to find a safe route. I liked having to think about the level itself as a puzzle because the best path is not always obvious. I have to understand how the machines affect the space before I can move through it safely. The stolen possession at the end of each level adds another nice twist. Once I pick it up, I have to make my way back out through the network, and the item itself can become part of my solution. I can place it on buttons to open walls or interact with special blocks, which means the thing I was stealing suddenly becomes another tool. I thought that was a really …

This is a fun and heartfelt early access indie game. It's classic stealth vibes with a unique art style. I played when it first released, and came back after the recent updates, and excited to keep seeing what the dev(s) come up with next.

"Heist.exe" is badly made and abandoned Game Jam junkware, an insincerely made game made to make a game dev feel good about himself and try win a game jam rather than being a sincerely made game intended for gamers... not a real gaming product. Yet here it is on Steam, broken and abandoned, polluting the place with insincere ego junk. What do you do in the game? This was an attempt to make a top down stealth game with the usual sight cone avoidance gimmicks, only considerably worse than every other game in the genre, because it wasn't made for gamers. The developers abandoned this 6 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This is not a sincerely made product, it was made for a game jam, which is a problem. It was done in a constrained period of time; professional game development takes years of effort from teams of talented and qualified people. A "game" slapped together in a weekend by an amateur simply isn't going to have any value for gamers, and that plays out clearly with this shovelware. This sensational game shows the start of some good hard work and dedication. Please continue developing this. The only criticism is that there is no settings to change key binds and and to change volume as the music was a little loud.

I really enjoyed the puzzles, this lil'puzzle stealth game has promise. If it had a harder difficulty which doesn't let you outrun the security, that'd be a good way to have a difficulty option :D This game is fun, keep going! :D
