Not bad. Not bad at all. Especially for a single-person project. It took me about 5 hours to finish the game, and I spent about $5 on it, so no complaints. It was actually longer than I thought it would be. A few random thoughts. I have a vague idea of the story, but nothing is really clear. It seems like a simple story told in a non-linear, convoluted way. Or maybe it's a complex story told in a non-linear, convoluted way. Once I got to some platforming sections, I fully expected the game to break down. However, these sections are designed well enough that they aren't frustrating at all. A few sequences took numerous tries. The stealth/chase sequences were also relatively painless. They're on the easier side, but some took me quite a few tries to figure out. There's a fair amount of variety to the gameplay. Exploration, puzzles, platforming, stealth, chase, reading. None of the levels outstay their welcome. A few come close, but the game has a good sense of progression. You can play a bunch of levels at a time, or just play one and get through it in a limited amount of time. It's pretty decent. And especially on sale you're getting a good bang for your buck. There's no real jump scares, just interesting environments to find your way around while a fragmented story is slowly pieced together before your eyes. I definitely enjoyed it. It seems incredible unknown given the number of reviews but it's a lot better than a lot of the budget horror games you'd get on steam.

One of a handful of games that made me feel genuine dread, in the levels with monsters to avoid. The rest is pretty good too.

Decent horror game. Not a pure horror game though. There are some platforming sections, some puzzle sections and sections where you have to avoid traps. So the game has a pretty good variation. It is also quite long with a playtime of about 4 hours for such a game and for that price. Graphics are ok, framerate is good and the gameplay is usually quite fun. What I didn't like: the game feels stretched at some points, especially at one point where you think that the end of the game is near but you only got half of the game at that point. Some other levels also feel like they should have been way shorter. Then the story: I basically have no clue what it was about, way too confusing and fragmented. And lastly some of the enemies suck. Still overall a good game which I do recommend. But don't expect anything great.

The game looks and runs great. It's an enjoyable game. I think people often just don't like everything being spelled out for them, so having to come up with your own conclusions ruins it for them.
