This game is cool, but busted. I keep getting a disconnect: Timeout Error in SINGLE PLAYER MODE. Can only make it to second or third level before it happens. Don't waste you time.5 found this helpful
A solid idea wasted by level design. The game just becomes glitchily almost impossible in single player to bust through levels that are not rejiggered from co-op balancing. You're working at half steam, half effectiveness. Heads up, no one is playing the game out there to get a co-op run going. To boot, the game's mechanics never evolve beyond what's available in the first level. It's just new layouts. There's one resource (capture points), two structures, the same single produced unit per each side of the battles, and aliens attacking all. Yes, I've managed to finish levels I had previously deemed impossible solo. No, I did not get the satisfaction and sensation of victory. I think I had something like 11 or 12 levels left in the game. Nifty set of ideas, though. A difficulty slider would've saved it.1 found this helpful
I was shocked when I saw that this game only has 62 reviews. It was fun and challenging. Super fun to play in co-op mode. Didn't really try any other mode just co -op campaign.
reallly cool, even in remote play.
I like this game :) Each level is like a very short version of StarCraft, and is optimized for quick fun. Works very well on Steam Deck (OLED) but I did notice an interesting problem. I first installed and played this in desktop (linux) mode with an external monitor connected in extended mode. Unfortunately, the game chose the wrong resolution (something like 800 by 600). This can easily be fixed by (a) uninstalling and exiting desktop mode. and (b) installing in the standard "gaming mode" on the Steam Deck. I was wondering if there was a difference between the two versions of "steam" on the deck (desktop and gaming mode). They are the same, but you could run into "setup" problems if you run a game for the first time in desktop mode. I must say that desktop mode is lots of fun (especially if you like linux) since you can install multiple games while browsing the web, etc
