* Preparation of healing mixtures and other items on the basis of specific formulas.

A perfect candidate should:
* Have a good sense of humour and be interested in adventure and simulation games.
* Have some free time.
Warning: Asset Flip!
Herbalist Simulator is a Unity asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" ripped off a low poly Synty Studio asset pack for Unity, changed a few things around with it, and dumped it on Steam as a cash grab. It's important to note EJRGames did not acknowledge they took a Synty Asset Pack to make this asset flip. Instead, they claim the work of Synty as their own... whether Synty's license for this asset permits it or not, this is plagiarism and highly unethical. EJRGames have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work. One example of EJRGames doing this is VRAdventure, which is really the "Polygon Dungeons Asset Pack" asset, written by the actual developers, Synty Games. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no op…7 found this helpful
I love the concept of this game. I believe that this is what games really should be used for instead of killing everything in sight. I want to be a naturopath and I love plants. A game like this with more time and money invested could be critical to future learning. I would take pictures of Echinacea Purpurea (Purple cone flower) Indian Pipe, Turmeric, Licorice root, and a host of other medicinal herbs, and scatter them throughout the terrain. Hide rare ones and make it more explore intensive. I love the fact that you have patients to treat. I would make it a bit more simplified for the user so it's easier to figure out. Like "John has the flu" Treat with Echinacea tincture and then you have to go find the Echinacea and make the tincture in the house. I am playing on a computer and the controls weren't clear, if I press escape it doesn't give me an escape menu or anything. Little simple implements could make the game very fluid. The controls and movement already feel very clean like in minecraft, so it wouldn't take a crazy amount of work to put it a lot more into this. I hope you keep adding to it. I have a Chinese herbal remedies encyclopedia that has all the herbs and tinctures …6 found this helpful
I really wanted to like this game, but there just isn't enough direction. Everyone around me dies. Plus, the controls are very bad.4 found this helpful
- Clearly designed for VR, all menus open up as floating windows that you can walk away from, and that can clip into nearby objects. Keyboard controls are clumsy, your only access to your inventory is by scrolling through it with two keyboard keys, not the mousewheel. - Gather natural herbal ingredients like glass jars of sugar by finding where they have randomly spawned in the woods near your house and clicking once. - Patients get impatient and leave over time, and spawn in the instant that you do, giving you no leeway to read the tutorial text or gather ingredients. Several of the first people to show up are going to leave before you can get them anything, and since you won't have medicine at first, most of your early treatments are going to involve feeding people and sending them home. - When I craft things, the result items seem to disappear into the ether, and I can't find them when scrolling through my inventory. You also select things by maneuvering the center of your screen onto them, even though the OS mouse cursor is independently visible. That might just be because I'm on linux, so I'd advise sticking to playing it on windows. It runs well, the graphics form a d…3 found this helpful
