This is a casual Match-3 game, where you complete levels to earn coin to build buildings and create a village for the downtrodden to live in, and regain hope. Gameplay is similar to the Cradle of Rome series, with the bonus that you can choose three different ways of matching to finish levels.3 found this helpful

This is an excellent historically-based match-3 puzzle game. I re-discovered it recently and was delighted to re-install an play it again, simply because, as you will see by the number of hours, I have done so several times before. The graphics and game play or puzzle architecture are no less than outstanding, and as mentioned, the historical development, reminding us of the story of Joan of Arc, is exemplary. If one enjoys a solid but relaxing puzzle with a superb story, then HOTP: JOAN OF ARC is definitely a must for you!
