Puzzles, colorful yarn, and silent cat judgment: a good preview of my retirement
Ever play with a kitty using a piece of scrap yarn? Now it's time to connect back the pieces together. The rules are simple: spin the hex-shaped tiles and reconnect the colored yarns together using increasingly intricate dynamics. The game is easy overall, but 2-3 levels stand out and may require you to pause to think for a second. It falls more in the cozy puzzle comfort than in the challenging head-scratcher category, especially with how approachable and easy the mechanics and controls are, but it's perfect that way. There are cute cats between levels and around the boards, the new mechanics appear naturally with new environments, and the flow stays smooth across the 50 levels. Achievements unlock just by finishing things, no weird conditions attached. The only crimes here are not being able to pet the cats and having no built-in hints or level skips, though there’s a community guide if your brain refuses to cooperate. For about 1h15, it’s a very pleasant little yarn-twisting moment. Good for cozy vibes and cat lovers.
For more reviews like this one, please check out [url=https://s…

Hex Cats is a puzzle game built around simplicity, comfort, and a love for feline charm. Developed and published by Gray Boss, the game takes a familiar connection-based puzzle formula and reshapes it into a peaceful experience designed for players who prefer relaxing gameplay over intense challenges. Instead of overwhelming players with complicated mechanics or fast-paced objectives, Hex Cats embraces a calmer approach where thoughtful problem-solving and cozy presentation become the center of the experience. The gameplay revolves around manipulating hexagonal puzzle pieces to reconnect tangled yarn patterns scattered throughout each level. Players rotate and position tiles carefully, creating complete paths while navigating increasingly intricate board layouts. The core concept is easy to understand within minutes, making it approachable for casual players, but later puzzles gradually introduce enough complexity to maintain engagement. There is satisfaction in watching disconnected pieces slowly come together into complete designs, especially as solutions become less obvious and require stronger planning. What helps Hex Cats stand apart from many puzzle games is its use of hexa…

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game until I hit a bug. This bug will NOT allow me to continue playing the game so I reported it to the devs. Unfortunately, it has yet to be fixed. Since the game cannot be continued, I spent money (and time) on this game for nothing. This game is BROKEN. Until it is fixed (IF), I don't recommend wasting money on a broken game. :-(

Lovely cat puzzle game. The earlier levels are very easy, but the later ones do get quite tricky. Straight yarn may only trigger a win condition in one direction in some puzzles, which is obviously annoying, but that's my only real complaint. Otherwise, it's a cute, chill puzzle game with cats, so hard to go wrong.

This game is so bad, the UI/colour scheme is just plain awful. THE PUZZLE IS FUN. I just hate that it is so hard to distinguish which is which in terms of colour/types/shapes. Need improvement in term of visual. It's cute, The music is bad and boring.
