HIGHBLAST is set on a planet in a distant solar system. You work for the local star system defence force. They prevent any 1 group of people from completely controlling a planet. You are helping to free a planet from an evil civilisation who want to take all the resources for war against other planets. You must infiltrate enemy bases to perform reconnaissance and weaken the enemy.
Enhance your robot soldiers by equipping various arm mounted or arm replacing weapons. Examples include a anti-drone radar, a flamethrower and a rail-gun!
If a robot is disabled do not worry, you have backups! You will be able to upgrade the number of robots you can deploy in later game versions.
Once all enemies are destroyed you return to the ship and leave for orbit to do repairs and upgrades.
You have the freedom to create your own maps and share them with others on the Steam Workshop with Highblast's Level Foundry. The map pieces snap to a grid. And new pieces and fixes are being worked on all the time! We are also considering procedural maps for infinite replayability!
Highblast was originally released as a first game and was very very.... Indie in it's lack of everything. But we liked the concept an wanted to make something similar with a lot more content and a cool story. So if it seems far from finished, it is. And we (2 to 3 people in our free time) are constantly working on new stuff and fixes for old stuff.
WE WILL NOT NEGLECT THIS GAME UNTIL IT'S DONE! :)

Story Context

Absolutly amazing game, there is nothing better. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate that cakebot though and he seems...gay. Anyway I think you should add a robot named "Elijah" that tries to stel your stuff. 10/10 would recommend
"HIGHBLAST" is an incomplete amateur game made using Godot's 3D engine (it's ok, the 2D engine is garbage). It was a dismal failure on Steam Direct. What do you do in the game? This is an FPS/adventure game. The idea is that you have a bunch of robots that you can upgrade, and you land on a planet with your space rocket and inflitrate a base to sabotage it to stop greedy enemies from ruining all the nice things we love about outer space. This is accomplished through wandering through some laughably badly made environments and doing some pretty weak first person shooting. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. Even though the game looks pretty bad (and decent visuals are a minimum requirement for any game), we can be fairly sure this is not an asset flip. This…

game so good it fixed me
This has major potential. I like the gravity. Not sure what is going on though. Would love to see this more polished.
I don't want to be harsh toward a two-man group developing a game, but this game tries so hard to be decent and fails horribly. Hasn't been updated in months, and overall isn't good game play wise. You're better off playing something else. 2/10, wouldn't recommend, has little to no potential.
