like many freemium idle incremental games, it's swimming against two currents, and, like many freemium games generally, the monetization current is stronger than the gameplay one. This leaves you with three options: 1) spend money 2) micro like your life depends on it 3) play for a couple minutes every day All of them push too far away from joy and too close to chores.

Fun free business idle game with great music, but a long grind.

[h2]Like [i]AdVenture Capitalist[/i], But Not Quite[/h2] A fun idle game all about making money through various businesses, sounds familiar, doesn't it? It plays similarly to the aforementioned game in the title, but it has a lot of features that make it stand on its own two feet. I've stayed playing this game trying to complete all the buildings milestones but it just seems too far out of reach or too time consuming to be remotely fun to attain. That being said, the game is really enjoyable, and getting all the achievements isn't some torturous process. I will say, the characters in the game are really uncanny, and kind of give me the creeps, but that's just a nitpick of mine. That music though, although it's just one song looping, it gets me pumped every time I open the game and made every minute worthwhile. I'll recommend it. It's not perfect in any sense, but it's free and well, I had a lot of fun.

The steady sense of progression makes every session feel productive. Upgrading businesses and expanding the city never gets old thanks to the constant rewards. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy idle tycoon games.
