I'm all for indie devs and the dev process but this is obviously a money grab. 5 different hats that you just keep searching for. There is no "progress" there are a few animated geese. Definitely recommended! This game is super cute and perfect for killing time. It gradually increases the challenge, keeping you engaged without feeling overwhelming. It's great for when you're waiting for something to happen or just need a quick, fun distraction. Perfect for casual gaming sessions!
honker is really just average. i will say, honker does provide most of what it says it does. there are infinite levels, there are several hat variants, you use your mouse, and there are two music tracks. honker does fail in several aspects though. the game claims it has 30+ minutes of play time. this is a huge overestimate, as it took me less than 10 minutes to find all the geese variants and earn all the achievements. sure, you can replay the game for over 30 minutes, but there isnt enough to do within the game to warrant replaying it. even within the 10ish minutes i played, i got bored really quickly. theres very few variations to the geese you find and the only challenge is that more geese appear as you progress. honker also claims to have over four unique geese. im assuming what this is meant to describe is the geese doing unique activities. theres geese that ride motorcycles, lawnmowers, or are grilling. however, these are the same exact geese models and i wouldnt really call them a “unique” goose. the game is incredibly simplistic and its fairly priced for what the game offers. but honker offers very little. the geese are relatively easy to find and searching for geese wi…
I was able to 100% this game in under 10 minutes.... If you want a mindless hidden object type game featuring geese in hats that honk at you when you find them, I guess this is the game for you. Fun: 3/5 Held my attention for maybe 5 minutes Replayability: 1/5 There was so little to do. After 100% it, I felt like that's the end. Player Interaction: N/A Quality: 2/5 There was NO description for anything in the settings menu. You had to click on each icon to figure out what they did, one of which deletes your save data with no warning. Art & Style: 4/5 Cute game, but tiny. Wish I could zoom in to see things better. Overall score: 2.5/5
