Horse Club Adventures

My 4 year old loves this game. I have to read for them but i would say for young kids who can read its very user friendly.

Cute, harmless little game. Great if you just want to sit back and relax with some horse riding. The animations can be a little clunky, and I do wish the effects from grooming your horse lasted the entire day the same as feeding does. There could be more essence to the gameplay but it is what it is. Innocent, simple fun. Love the soundtrack!

Fun, but def meant for younger kids. NPC movement is too slow or two fast for player to match pace with. Missions with NPC Following are slow and tedious, NPC must be inside of Player or else they don't move -running ahead to the destination doesn't speed up or teleport NPC. Sarah is 1791m away and not moving cause I ran ahead to the Old Mill -now I have to go all the way back to her. This isn't a good mechanic, especially for kids. So, play it if you want your hand held and spend an 1 hour doing a mission that would only take 20 minutes max if coded efficiently

The environment is nice to look at and is rather large. Forested areas are bit more closed off, you can earn different horse and character customizations as you play the main line quests. My left ear got r**ed during the opening scenes audio, the keyboard controls are pretty clunky, you can't turn the camera without having to fight the direction of the horse/character to try and look around, and I can't tell whether or not the game was or wasn't supposed to have voice acting because characters are silent for 90% of the time and then out of nowhere you hear somebody actually say something. You also can't change the keyboard controls. The map being large is still nice, BUT only if you're not worrying about doing the side quests. It feels like it takes forever to fetch an item and then have to run 10 miles back to Mrs. Jacob. For being a colorful world with a lot of forest and fields, there's not any wildlife to find.

spent six hours yesterday bullying this game with one of my good friends. 15/10, I cried laughing at a possible bug and he had to do breathing exercises with me.
