Tales of Rein Ravine

This is the best realistic first person horse riding simulator I have ever experienced.  I enjoyed it so much!  I love how detailed controlling the horse is and it feels great on first person.  My only suggestion is have a toggle to turn off the stride feature entirely for jumping.  I really hope you keep working on this game, what a delightful experience!

I closed the game after 15 minutes. The game starts with absolutely no instructions on what to do. I had to Google how to proceed. After that, I arrived at the “stables”. They didn’t really look like stables. There were no NPCs, just horses. The building looks weirdly modern from the outside, but not in a normal modern way. Apparently, you need to complete some kind of training before you can rent the horses, but I couldn’t find where or how to do it. There are no instructions telling you where to go or how to proceed. I refused to look up how to play the game for the second time after only 10 minutes, so I quit. It was really frustrating. Also, the character walks and runs very slowly. Considering how far apart the buildings and other locations are, this became annoying after about 5 minutes.

this game is well-made, clearly done by someone who rides and knows the mechanics of riding. however. the controls are weird and kinda hard to get used to, and the animations definitely leave something to be desired. it's not really my thing, but i tried it and learned that it's not for me. but!!! i'm sure other horse-people will enjoy this game and have fun!

Although this game isn't finished yet i already love it! I grew up playing star stable and riding horses in real life and i still do to this day, and to find a game that finally offers realistic aids and language used while riding is amazing! When it is fully released i expect to be paying at least £20 for it and it would be one of the happiest purchases of a game that ive made in a while.
