works as long as its not on full screen all the dash games seem to be like this1 found this helpful
Love this game! Fun and mentally stimulating. Someone reviewed to change some settings which made the game playable in full screen with no lag, when I start I still have to change the settings to get it going. **Go to steam game file and click the gear icon on this game-browse local files-right click hotel dash-click properties-click compatibility-change to windows 95 or windows 98/me. Then reduce color mode to 8-bit.** I struggled with this for a second because I kept trying to do it from steam and not my local files on my pc. **If the game does not come on when you do this, go in and change from windows 95 to windows 98/me and vice versa each time you play, if you have to uninstall all your progress is saved!** I adore this game.
seems to run fine on my steamdeck even not in windowed mode--will update if any issues occur. Good childhood game
Couldn't see my mouse so I couldn't play it, and even the main menu was lagging constantly
