About HotFloor
Run, Jump, Glide, Bounce and maneuver your way through unique and challenging levels. Lack of elegance, however, will get your *** in lava, and nobody wants any of that.
HotFloor is a first person action parkour game. Controls are tight and movement feels just right. If all else fails, you can still watch lava dry.

✦ AI summary
Players praise HotFloor's tight controls, challenging level design with creative mechanics like moving platforms and time-based obstacles, and its commitment to pure skill-based parkour gameplay across 50 increasingly difficult levels. Common complaints center on the repetitive volcano aesthetic throughout all levels, limited soundtrack variety, the lack of quick restart functionality, and missing features like leaderboards and achievements that would add replayability and competitive value.
Parkour game from a first-person perspective in which you run, jump across platforms, avoiding falling lava and other dangers ✅50 levels to complete ✅Each of these levels looks different and you have to make increasingly more difficult jumps ✅Lots of interesting mechanics such as a scalding floor, disappearing and moving platforms, pop-up obstacles and time elements requiring precision and good timing ✅Nice dynamic soundtrack (too bad there's only one) ✅If new mechanics appear, the game informs us how to jump to complete the level ❌Lack of variety of locations, the game uses the same volcano motif all the time ❌The price should be lower because only the system we have to go through changes ❌No quick level restart ❌1 repetitive soundtrack (nice but gets boring after a while) ✅✅Verdict: [strike] Terrible [/strike] , [strike] Bad [/strike] , [strike] Mediocre [/strike] , [b] Decent [/b] , [strike] Good [/strike] , [strike] Very Good [/strike] (Rating scale for tested game) If you want to see more of my reviews, you can find me on my curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45994324/ and on my group: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CuratorKingViking If you have any q…13 found this helpful
Banger game. When you beat it, you cant play again. Really ups the stakes
HotFloor is a compact, movement-driven action platformer developed by David Mulder and published by SA Industry that places precision, speed, and momentum at the absolute center of its design. Rather than offering a narrative framework or layered progression systems, the game commits fully to a single idea: navigating a series of increasingly demanding obstacle courses where the floor is lethal and hesitation is punished. This focus gives HotFloor a clear identity as a reflex-based challenge, designed for players who enjoy mastering movement through repetition and skill refinement. The core of HotFloor lies in its first-person parkour mechanics. Players sprint, jump, glide, and bounce across suspended platforms while molten lava looms below as a constant threat. The controls are tight and responsive, allowing for fine adjustments in midair that are crucial when jumps must be executed with near-perfect timing. Movement feels deliberate rather than floaty, rewarding players who learn how to carry momentum through sequences of jumps instead of stopping and recalibrating after every obstacle. As levels progress, the game increasingly demands confident execution, pushing players to tru…
HotFloor is a fun, fast-paced game with cool levels and smooth controls. Definitely worth trying out!
As you know when you were a kid, "the floor is lava," so that's where it is! The gameplay consists of jumping on platforms and running over walls in order to reach the end of the level and move on to the next one. We need to add steam achievements and leaderboards to the game, that's really not enough, I hope they will add it in the future, it will give competitive interest. Well, in small ways, you can diversify the levels with any moving mechanisms and a variety of new platforms. To improve graphically how this monotonous lava "explodes", more other colors should be added. Well, do a little more work on physics and add an element of climbing onto the platform by clinging to the edge if, for example, you didn't jump a little.
My childhood game, the floor is lava, but with additional obstacles, they perfectly complement the game plot, you have to try very hard to get to the end, the control is good, the graphics fit perfectly, the dynamics are at the same level.
