My 40 hour review! So after 40 hours or about 3-4 days of playing I'd say I'm super satisfied with the game so far. The story pacing is OKAYyyy, so far, I'm sitting around lv 189, got Legendary Armor I pilfered off a Han leader, REALLY upset him doing so though! Anyways let's talk about what I like about the game PROS - - Devs interact with us, that's a plus - Group Combat is new and refreshing - Exploring the world map is good - Skipping skill checks because I've done them 60+ times with a dice roll - Chinese themed Mount and Blade - Fighting ANY lord at Early - Mid game is a miniature dark souls battle - Spells! Things I think need to be improved - Combat needs more tactics and squads other than two Army's just forming a single column and kissing - Homestead system NEEEEDS to be improved on - It says I'll die if I get too old... There's no ability for me to make children - More interactive NPCs - Translation still needs some work (reading books, the dice skip) - there's more but I'll complete it tomorrow when I wake up7 found this helpful
I know there is a lot of negative reviews out there but like the game. There is still a good bit of work to be done and it is not finished but the devs are constantly checking in and progress is being made. I love this genre of game and it brings enough new concepts to keep me interested at its current state. The progress shows the complete game is being movewd toward and updates are meaningful with player opinions a focus. This is much better than you get from 80% of steam games.4 found this helpful
I really like the game so far :). The Warring States period is one of my favorite historical time frames in pretty much all of history, and with the rpg element combined with the open-world and etc, it pretty much combines everything I like! Hopefully future plans will be implemented properly by the devs, really recommend it and it runs really good even on my potato laptop (。•́︿•̀。). Overall, really fun!3 found this helpful
I'll recommend the game for now with hopes it becomes as good as i think it could be. It is indeed quite rough at the moment though.3 found this helpful
I rarely write reviews for games. I really like this game and decided to give it more awareness. I feel this game has a lot of potential. It is similar to Mount & Blade series by TaleWorlds Entertainment but with a Chinese historical backdrop or setting. I would highly recommend this to players who enjoyed the Mount & Blade series!1 found this helpful
