CREATE YOUR CIVILIZATION
Combine up to 60 historical cultures as you lead your people from the Ancient to the Modern Age. From humble origins as a Neolithic tribe, transition to the Ancient Era as the Babylonians, become the Classical era Mayans, the Medieval Umayyads, the Early Modern era British, and so on. Each culture will add its own special gameplay layer, leading to near-endless outcomes.

MASTER TACTICAL BATTLES ON LAND, SEA & AIR
Each battle in HUMANKIND™ plays out like a mini turn-based board game on top of the actual world map. Unstack your armies and command each of your units, including the emblematic units of your culture and their special abilities. Construct siege weapons to besiege and occupy cities. Fight in large battles spanning multiple turns, and don’t hesitate to bring in reinforcements!
CUSTOMIZE YOUR LEADER
In HUMANKIND™, you’ll be playing the leader of your society as an avatar that you create and customize! Your avatar will evolve visually over the course of the game as your civilization develops. You’ll also be able to level up your leader via a meta-progression system to unlock custom looks that you can showoff to strangers and friends alike in multiplayer matches up to 8 players.
This game may be updated over time and have paid for and free additional content released for it. Please be aware that this may increase the minimum requirements for running the game above the specification stated here

The last time I played this game was 4 years ago and it was a mess. Now, it is what it should have been from the start.
good game, would recommend. think of it as a civilization but with player controlled combat.
Not going to lie, I think Humankind has been the better civ game since civ 6. It does have civ switch, but if you are more into the whole strategic combat side of civ, but thinks Total war is a bit too much, then I think this will fit. The game is even better when you add some more mods that improve the naval combat and adds more civs. This game has come along way since the initial release.
I do like this, I prefer it to any of the recent CIV games.
Awesome game ! finally a civ-like that is doing as good as the original if not even better.
Pretty good The combat and troop movement is the best and most streamlined out of any 4x game I know of and being able to add new bonuses and choose a different focus each era is awesome. I also like the way cities are built with districts because it makes you think about its layout for the future while also naturally scaling the size with your settlement's production. That being said managing your empire in the later stages of the game can be quite tedious as planning and placing districts is meticulous work which scales exponentially as your empire grows. I wish there was a way to quickly make blueprints for your domain and queue districts placed next to districts ahead in the queue to expedite the process (currently, in the production queue of the city, you can only place districts adjacent to already built districts). Another thing that bugs me a little is that fighting wars early on leaves the loosing side destitute with maybe one or two remaining cities while handing the winner a golden ticket to the next era. Small grievances can quickly escalate into kingdom-wiping conflicts and coming out on top is a fast way to earn a lot of fame (victory points). It's worth to wipe …
