About Humans Must Answer

Dodge, shoot and explode across the Solar System as a crew of intelligent and dangerous chickens. As the pilot of The Golden Eagle, it's your duty to keep Colonel Ram and Professor Bez safe as they squabble about ethics and who last used the toilet. Wage war against humanity as you battle your way towards the Sun to complete your mission.

You'll manage this task with burning plasma, smoking bullet cartridges, and daring maneuvers through asteroid belts. Some may discover a profound message, while others will be content with sidling harmfully across this horizontal vision of the future that comes handily embalmed with explosions.

Key Features

  • A horizontal shmup featuring intergalactic chickens, explosions and death to humanity! And explosions!
  • Combine devastating weaponry to dish out the pain! Hatch turrets to deal with your foe two-fold! Destructible scenery, ship upgrades and boss fights!
  • Explode your way across the Solar System in non-linear fashion, with sprinklings of a silly-serious story to dip your beak in and levels that will delight eyes and scramble brainwaves!

Limited energy for guns, levels that play like puzzles. Bosses that require some head scratching on what gun combos to have. Routes that have to be punched open or die. For fans of Jet's'n Guns there are similarities that levels are more or less big explosion fests and there are secrets and puzzles to solve. Many runs end in a 'what was that all about' puzzlement when you encounter something you dont expect at all. But it's really nice too when you figure out what the catch was. Aggravating for some, for me this is a sign of a most decent shooter game. A good buy even today despite age.

Windows 10, 64 bits. UNPLAYABLE: Game screen appears frozen, BUT, after trying and trying: Mantain pressed a key or move the mouse constantly (not fast, just constantly), AND a slow as molasses windows comes out of the left. But slow, as in unplayable. Each menu selection took minutes of my life, not exaggerating at all. Eventually, you start the games, but *that* moves quick as lightning, as in uncontrollable. Refunded.

i remember when this was on kickstarter and i back it personally. super disappointing. game is uber slow, graphics are nice but the motion is like a newgrounds game w/hd graphics. if they sped up the scrolling like 2-3x & the projectiles 2x at least it'd probably feel incredibly different.

A side scrolling shooter with a good amount of polish and thought especially the boss levels which offer interesting challenges. The levels tend to require planning and a few attempts to do well but they are short so it isn't painful to restart. Additionally the movement of the ship is a bit sluggish by design which may be frustrating for people used to more fast paced combat.

Inconvenient controls. Boring and monotonous gameplay.
