What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the relaxing, slow-paced hunting gameplay that rewards patience, but many are frustrated by confusing mechanics like mandatory licenses, unclear equipment compatibility, and poor tutorial guidance that leads to wasted time and restart loops. The game's lack of clear information about what's needed before committing resources and limited animal availability on maps creates a barrier to enjoyment for new players.

do not get me wrong, this game is well built and really good for the most part... HOWEVER!... the biggest problem that makes the game so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating and annoying is not being able to save periodically while hunting, so if you need to quit or your game is shutdown for any reason you will lose hours of gameplay in an instant... the only time the game saves your progress at all is when you return to the lodge, wtf! minor issues, include amount of ammo you have on you is rediculously small amounts that make 0 sense... i think the dev.s have never hunted, you carry all the ammo you will need on you when you hunt, unless you are using some kind of ATV or similar to carry your gear... you would also carry the tags with you, food, you would setup a base camp as well... you would also likely carry your kill back to camp and dress it and drain it or whatever prep. needs to be made and only when you meet the ranger or w/e on the way out would you show your license and tags, also there are different levels of license for each type of animal you can hunt which states how many kills you can make for each animal. something that is missing from this game is fishing, fishing is a part…
:D
Honestly one of my favourite games of all time A great hunting experience for the family. 10/10
well if you dont have a good computer you can just lower the grafics on the game
I just started playing this and I have to say am enjoying it. I have already bagged 2 sheep after a short play. The developers seem to understand its no fun to be searching for animals and not finding them. Another famious hunting game I have played I gave up because I couldn't even bag a rabbit after hours of play, it was like there was no prey for miles around. It really give one a sense of accomplishment.
