This game is hilariously difficult but super freakin awesome. the visuals are pretty neat and the soundtrack is AMAZING. def recommend on sale2 found this helpful
great soundtrack, game looks great. but... the zoomed in view is too close so you cant really react to anything that's coming at you. the visual indicator of incoming items does not really help with the fact that most of them in the early stage (at least) are homing and are faster than you unless you boost. you can use the lock-on (which zooms you out and muffles the movement as your locked onto the target) can help with seeing the projectiles, but you then have to quickly drop back in to close view (not lock-on) to be able to react to anything coming at you (at which point you cant see them again). might just be me but the above makes it very hard, I've got to stage 2 but with the speed of the game, i didn't even know that until i'd died which was a few moments after getting there. difficulty level is pretty brutal right off the bat. the player of the steam video (of this above) is a god in the game. my play did not look half as controlled / skilled and i lasted around 1 to 2 minutes ish per play. perhaps some game difficulty settings added. still, for the price, worth the punt. and i plan to stick at it to try to get further / better.2 found this helpful
Really fun and addictive game. Nymeria needs nerf xD1 found this helpful
Overall I really like how brutal, unforgiving and lightining fast the game combat feels. It's obvious how skill based it is, when getting the hang of it, one starts to enjoy even more. I felt that the God horizontal attack (missiles come in like a wall) to be almost a lucky shot for player, most of the times getting hit by these, while I trying to flee the chasing missiles, I felt helpless a few times because of those. At first I asked myself why would one not want to be pressing accelerator, until I found out how cool it is to change direction really fast if not accelerating, quite a cool little thing missing entirely from the tutorial I think, now I keep trying / doing it and it's really rewarding :) Music and sound effects are really spot on! The retro feel is really nice as well!1 found this helpful
addicting, frustrating but overall a great experience!1 found this helpful
The game is more than great, but still needs some things like more than one ship or a skill tree. I rely recomend to buy this game.1 found this helpful
