About Icarus - Prima Regula

ICARUS - PRIMA REGULA

You are stuck in a godforsaken spaceship for some reason. The way out seems "too damn long to walk" in technical jargon. Your fortune, however, seems perfectly balanced. On one hand' you come by a jetpack that has not have all the life squeezed out of it. On the other, when you start there are no breaks. You smash into something face-first you are going to... not die? Also, there are lasers which is nice.

Icarus - Prima Regula is an infinite runner shooter mix in which player flies through procedurally generated spaceship corridors with a jetpack. Avoid obstacles or blow them up, purchase upgrades and go as far as you can in this simple but fast paced flight experience. What brought you to this spaceship and why it did exactly that, are yet to be discovered. Yet, something or someone is trying to prevent your escape but keep you flying.

I like the graphics with all those neons. Musics are cool too. But it doesn't challenge me as i expected from infinite runner game. If developers work on difficulty, it has potential to be addictive. In the game, as far as i understand (there is no story behind except description in store page) you are trying to run away from a spaceship with a jetpack. You dont see the jetpack however controlling it helps you to levitate. It make me feel like i am in control which is important not to have nausea. While you are flying, you have to avoid obstacles. There are different stages at the game with different environments. And the main purpose of the game is beating your own highscore. It would be good to see others with leaderboard. As early access, it is worth what i paid as long as studio keeps their promises about updating the game with mentioned plan.

Feels like you are skating down a track with walls all around you and if you hit anything on the way down then its game over. See how far you can go down the track with guns and dodging obstacles. https://youtu.be/kKr-ZIXJ_b8

This game is really enjoyable but maybe for a lower price. It is very enjoyable to fly once you get the hang of controls. Your speed is slowly increasing (there are upgrades to change that) and it really tests your skills when you are close to top speed. It would be nice to have dynamic obstacles (devs say they plan dynamic obstacles). Theme is also beautiful; it is mostly dark and neon filled. Bonuses are okay. Upgrades seem limited and some upgrades are useless (Who would even use that bullet time duration upgrade lmao). I had a good experience, it is an okay game but game does not pull me in. (don’t skip the tutorial screens, because there are some controls you cant easily discover on your own).
