About Idle Chess Story
Idle Chess Story is a strategy game with fun decisions. Players take on enemy AI Players in a gauntlet where the goal is to reach the highest amount of rounds possible.
During the shopping phase, you chose what units you want to buy and place on the chess board, then, during the fighting phase, your units fight against enemy units to the death.
The player with the last unit surviving wins the duel and is rewarded a hefty gold bounty. Careful with losing too many units! Reach 0 HP and the game is over.
Every unit belongs to two tribes. Gather enough units of the same tribe and unlock powerful bonuses for your allies. Having 3 or 6 units of the same tribe is enough to unlock the bonuses. Use your gold wisely on units of the same type to quickly attain these bonuses to take control over your enemy.

Not an Idle Game nor is it a Story Game in any way. You just buy some troops and hope that you're lucky enough to beat the enemies. You can buy more troops than you can actually use (four when you go against the first boss), and there's no chance to bring in your other troops that are waiting on the sidelines at all. You also have to start from scratch if you fail against the first boss. I think I'll stick to a regular game of chess rather than this... I don't even know what the Dev was trying to do here.1 found this helpful
Despite the name of the game, this is not an idle game. You play a few rounds of "chess", during which you can get gold to buy more "chess" pieces. After you either reach a few wins or lose your HP, you start over completely from zero with nothing to show for your effort. Chess is in quotes because the only thing that seems to be chess-related is the battlefield. Don't waste your time.
This is neither an Idle game nor a Chess game, and it's basically RNG that determines if you get anywhere and the player has zero control over where the mobs you buy and place move or attack. Not worth the time.
I have no idea what I'm doing. Or what i'm supposed to do.
