About Favor Chess
Assemble your own chess army to use against your foes. There are over 50 unique pieces to collect in the game, with more to come!

There are more rules and ways to win, including an additional row on the board behind your setup called your reserve: You can put extra pieces in it to bring into the battle later. There are also tokens, a new type of piece that grants you abilities or changes the rules of the game without being on the board. Units have several unique abilities that make the game play much differently from traditional chess.

The rules of the game change depending on which tokens you pick for your army. Start with a whole extra row of pawns, create a knight at a weak point in your opponent's defense, or change the win condition to include capturing all of the opponent's minions.
Favor Chess retains chess-like design, and there are no hidden pieces or random elements inside matches.

And we know, every single time an amateur developer tries to do this, that Chess doesn't have any problems that need to be fixed. But then you get into it and see it's just another garbage cash shop with a game stapled onto it. If you do try to play this, which you can't really, it's full of bugs, lacks polish, and has a weak technical delivery (moght as well be a browser game). The way the developer tried to "fix" Chess here was by adding lots of pieces …1 found this helpful
Playtest your game. Some units are broken and turn the game into a chore. One perfect example is the Pharoah abomination, it will permanentaly escape and will make checkmates practically impossible. Since there are no players around, I play against AI and AI doesn't forfeit. It will just permanently move its piece around so no checkmate is possible.1 found this helpful

Вместо стандартных ходов можно использовать ограниченное количество "милостей", чтобы, например, переместить фигуру противника, защитить свою или даже воскресить уничтоженную. Сначала это кажется странным, но быстро понимаешь, что это открывает совершенно новые тактические возможности и усложняет игру разы, требуя мыслить за пределами обычных шахматных шаблонов. Визуальное оформление минималистичное, но приятное, не отвлекает от игрового процесса. Интерфейс интуитивно понятен, быстро осваиваешься. Играть можно как с ИИ, так и с другими игроками онлайн, что делает её отличным вариантом для коротания времени и для серьёзных шахматных баталий. ИИ предлагает разные уровни сложности, так что подстроиться под свой уровень подготовки не составит труда. В целом, "Favor Chess" – это отличное приобретение для любителей шахмат, которые хотят попробовать что-то новое и более динамичное. Рекомендую!
