Idle Geometry Defense

Surprisingly refreshingly decent tower defense game with retro vibes. Loved the 360 deg view and the ability to scan the map during the onslaught. Those geometry armies are really a beast. The yellow ones pack quite a punch with raining missiles. There's also one that charges up a massive laser shot. The red light bike ones are tricky - they scramble your defenses. On to the idle part. Left the game running in the background and it auto plays (well 50% of the time the HQ tower dies if you don't micromanage/preplan). It's something that you can place at the corner of your monitor and come back to upgrade stuff every now and then in order to clear the next wave and so on. Neat party trick for busy folks.

Have never played an incremental tower defense with such a unique theme. Just based off of novelty aspect, this game deserves a 10/10. You're basically controlling a giant tower in the middle surrounded by tiny towers. Bad juju cubes are out to get you in huge quantities... and they nasty, real nasty. There's swarmer cubes, there's light bikes (yasss), there's flyers, there's rocket launchers... they're literally throwing everything at you. Game requires some form of skill to identify what attributes of the tower to upgrade. The side tiny towers are equally important to distract the horde from reaching your HQ Devs added a deep tech tree recently which was a really nice touch. They finally understood what an incremental game is (thank god). Battles are fast paced and I get a really nice rush going, even without my daily caffeine intake. Sound effects are on point, and the music score is icing on the cake. For the idler enthusiants who are busy, tuck this game to the side, resize the window and let it play on autopilot. Every now and then you still need to upgrade your towers/reshuffle your strategy a little bit.

Well put together, can't find anything similar on the market. Don't have anything bad to say about this game...affordable price for the fun it brings

Definitely worth sinking a couple hours into this game. Great geometry graphics Atmospheric music gets my hair standing. Good grind. It takes a while to understand how to beat a level but once you're in the pocket, it feels effortless. 8.8/10

A hidden gem that is actually challenging. It takes a bit of hand eye coordination to scan the environment and then plan to upgrade to counter those incoming cubes. For example if you see nasty yellow artillery coming up, it makes sense to expand your radius to hit them before they hit you. Having the Freeze button helps with planning. No point being a hero and leave things to chance. You need WASD to roam the map, and QE to satellite rotate just in case a baddie cube sneaks up from behind. I find myself repeating some levels more then 5 times. Great feeling after you figure out a strategy to win each level.
