About Idlemoor

Idlemoor is a dark fantasy idle MMORPG set in a persistent online realm. Trade on the marketplace, fight in battlegrounds, defend the town in community events, and chat with fellow Wanderers! Infinite build possibilities, where each item is completely unique. Will your build be the best?
Choose how your character survives: fight enemies, train combat styles, gather resources, craft gear, trade with other players, fight against other players in PvP, and climb the competitive Elo rankings. Progress continues while you are away, but active players can make sharper decisions, react to community events & random events, manage the market, and push deeper into the world.

Core Gameplay

Persistent online progression
Your character keeps advancing over time through server-side saves and account-based progress.
Combat, training, gathering, and PvP battlegrounds
Fight players & creatures, improve combat stats, mine, woodcut, forage, skin animals, and build your character through multiple highly-connected complex gear & stat systems!
Player economy
Buy, sell, and trade through a shared marketplace where player activity shapes item movement.  Each item is totally unique, and will never upgrade with identical stats.  Build your character with multiple in-depth skill systems, as well as several stat and gear systems that connect to form a complex meta-game of infinite potential choices!
Community features
Chat with other players, compete on rankings, engage in community events every day, and take part in a persistent realm instead of a purely local idle game.
Idle Pacing
Idlemoor is built for long-term progression: short check-ins, longer grinds, rare drops, and slow accumulation of power.

The game is a straight up copy of Idle Hacking. I still did enjoy it, breifly, but I was banned twice because the "developer" did not like me. And I quote "I don't want you in my game anymore". Oh, by the way, I was his biggest supporter monetarily. He didn't care. If you have any criticism, he will ban you. If you think that something is too strong or too weak, he will ban you. If you mention Idle Hacking, he will ban you. He insists that he "runs thousands of simulations" but he doesn't. I don't even think he codes the game. He just stole it and uses AI to change things for him.

It's an idle game inspired by Idle Hacking: An Inactive RPG. Well, that's not the problem - it doesn't just use same core mechanics (that's fine) but also uses pretty much identical layout, just with different theme, names (since it's fantasy), etc... on some screens it's acceptable, but some screens could have been made differently so it doesn't feel like copy/paste. Anyway, played the game on website (since you cannot activate premium subscription through steam) and was rank #2 till today. I was actively filling bug reports, providing suggestions and many of them were implemented. Unfortunately as I've seen it before, it's very easy to get on the bad side of this developer named Isaac. He was doing significant re-balances every day, some features even completely removed. Constantly claimed he has simulations and everything is balanced but the reality is that out of maybe 12 playable builds (named "focuses") there are maybe 1-2 worth playing. And this meta was shifting every day or two as he was actively nerfing the fun out of the game and banning players who complained about it on the go. Now I am banned too:) I was clearly triggering him with some of my bug reports and it wa…

This one is good! I like the ui changes and the dev is always pushing quick updates to do any fixes. I will continue to play but maybe not through steam. There is a site you can play for free as well in the browser @ idlemoor.com
