Immortal Dao Idle

Bought the game and was genially exited to try it out but i was immediately hit by AI character creation screen. Started the tutorial and after 10 minutes the tutorial bugged out and didn't let me to progress. Exited the game and refunded it after less than 20 minutes of gameplay. Not worth the afford since it seems like a mobile AI game on a pc.

Over 2k hours into the playtest, and [b][i]Immortal Dao Idle[/i][/b] just keeps getting better. It nails the classic Xianxia fantasy: you start off as a weak cultivator, level your stats, build your foundation, get completely wrecked by demon ants, rethink your life choices, conquer this heart demon, then go back and level some more. However, once you start progressing, the game opens up massively. Breaking through major realms actually feels meaningful because it continually introduces new mechanics rather than just bigger numbers to crush demon ants. You can choose to stack previous life gains to push your foundation further through [b]Reincarnation[/b] or explore crafting paths like [b]Smithing[/b], [b]Alchemy[/b], [b]Talismans[/b], and [b]Enchanting[/b]. For further build specialization, you get access to [b]6 distinct Sects with unique skill trees[/b]. You have absolute freedom over how you forge your path to immortality—and honestly, that's just touching the tip of the iceberg. is there heavy ai usage yes, but the amount of depth in the game is staggering. Not to mention how active the devs are and how welcoming the community is to answering questions and helping new players. Definitely worth giving a shot.

So far this has been a solid idle game with the progression and enough depth to keep me engaged. The theme fits with the art and story, upgrades feel good where I haven't felt like playing or progressing is a grind. Easy to pick up, worth a look if you like idle games.

Having a blast mostly as a solo player but there are also a lots of community events such as beast waves, implemented in a way which allows solo players to contribute to them and get rewards, so you get the "colo cultivator + mmo feeling" out of this game. Graphics are not crazy but fitting enough that i'm totally comfortable with. A lot of things to do and increasing/incrementally more options as you level up. Server resets after 6 months which feels like seasons in ARPG, and with a fitting theme (the world is ending, can the players stop it altogether? if yes the world evolves, if not server reset and new season). Stat progression is well thought with some meaningful choices exactly like in the litterary genre (building stronger foundations vs cultivating fast, both have advantages), and the crafting and economic activities also allow for specialising quite deeply into them. Last but not least, you can create soul clones (alt characters), if one character isnt enough to your liking :)

Great game, its the best cultivation game I have played.
