Immortal Empire is a tactical role-playing game that combines turn-based battles, character development, party building, and multiplayer elements within a fantasy setting. Immortal Empire is one of those games that caught me off guard a little because I was not expecting much from it at first. It is a turn based strategy RPG where I control a party of up to five immortals and work through a fantasy campaign while dealing with enemies, equipment and different abilities. The basic idea is pretty simple, but I found there was enough going on to make the battles feel like more than just picking attacks and waiting for the next turn. There is a decent amount of planning involved, especially once the enemies start getting stronger and I have to think more carefully about how I use my abilities. The combat is easily the part I enjoyed the most. Having different immortals with their own abilities gives me a reason to think about how I put my party together rather than just using whoever happens to be strongest. Spells can also work well together, which makes some fights feel quite satisfying when I manage to set things up properly. I liked that the game rewards me for actually thinking about what I am doing instead of simply throwing attacks at everything. I can't stop playing. Time writing this review is time not playing. Character classes are unique and fun. I only played solo, so no review for multiplayer.... 9/10. logging in right now.

Tried playing, ok mechanics for the mid to late 1990's, so if a old time Turn based game is what ur looking for, give this a try.

A friend and I played this game last night. There is something really special about it! I love the co-op turn based system. More games should allow players the take simultaneous actions with a "time" mechanic. We both look forward to playing more! Thanks Devs for the fresh take on a co-op RPG.
