About Imp of the Sun
Imp of the Sun is a non-linear 2D Action-platformer that combines fast-paced combat and exploration set across a stunning Peruvian-inspired world, from the bright peaks of the Andean mountains to the dense Amazonian jungles and much more.You play as Nin, an Imp created from the final spark of the Sun, who is sent on an adventure to defeat the Four Keepers and restore the Sun’s power, ending the Eternal Eclipse before the world is plunged into darkness.

Stolen by the Four Keepers centuries ago and hidden in the distant corners of the Empire, life cannot go on without the Sun’s power. With its dying spark the Sun creates Nin, sending him on an adventure to bring back the light and restore balance to the Empire.

Our ancestors recorded their history through artefacts known as ‘Quipus’. Collect Quipus to unveil the story behind the Eternal Eclipse, and find unique hidden items based on real relics from the Andean cultures. Explore the Sun’s Empire and defeat unique, punishing bosses in any order you choose; each with their own complex mechanics and backstory.

Discover the four corners of the Empire, from the bright peaks of the Andean mountains and dense Amazonian jungles, to dry, blistering deserts and the dark depths of the underworld. Every land and creature are lovingly hand-drawn and crafted with detail, celebrating the civilizations that once roamed and ruled Peru.

i like Ori and i hate this game, i like Hollow knight and i hate this game, i love Terraria and i hate this game, i love Rain world and i hate this game. if you're thinking of buying this game. dont. as somebody who played Calamity in my spare time, i would know what's unfair, this is the one. i cant stop but to admire the thinking behind this thing, like, i wonder if the entire team had a severe case of catastrophic brain damage to approve of this thing being made the way it is now. it's hard to imagine that the entire team didnt have an aneurysm one by one until the product was finished, but we will never know. and before you ask, the only reason i still have this game in my library is because am an achievement freak1 found this helpful
Nice artwork, a fun story, a little bit addicting, and a few challenging boss fights. There's also an "extra hard mode" after you complete the main storyline.
I like this game. Combat may feel a bit overwhelming (IM TALKING TO THE PEOPLE WHO CALL IT 'THAT') at the start but you will get used to it (UNLIKE OTHERS). The Story is Amazing, the Soundtrack gets stuck in yer head much. If its on Sale consider getting this!
