You can tell the devs put effort into this, but I simply didn't enjoy it very much. I'd rather grab a friend and give the Trine games a go instead.
it's a worth a try if you got it for free like me when it was free for a limited time. I wouldn't recommend it for people who want to buy it because story wasn't as strong as it's very generic and it's more 2d platform instead of metroidvania style. The art tyle is beautiful with I got hook with the character designs and class. Gameplay however, it is quite clunky and not smooth as it's very lmited on button controls and combat is average with you keep spamming the same button with no combos. Ratings: 5/10
