About in My MIND.
in My MIND. is a shooting game with metaphors about mind and feelings.
Face 18 different negative emotions. Irritation, Pressure, Loneliness, Distress, Fear, Hatred, Guilt, Confusion, Emptiness, Shame, Frustration, Jealousy, Hopelessness, Anger, Anxiety, Sadness, Panic, Despair, Madness, Depression. Your goal is to overcome them without being defeated.
Overcoming these emotions in real life won't be as easy as the game. However, if you deal with these characterized emotions, you might be able to face them in a much lighter mind in reality, too.
We sincerely hope that you can.

The game in a nutshell is a level based, boss rush SHMUP with a pixel graphic style. The interesting idea here is that each boss is used as a metaphor for a negative emotion that the player must overcome. Gameplay loop is very simple - defeat the boss to unlock the next one. There are no power-ups, you get one life and there is no progression system of any kind. Interestingly enough, what it lacks in feature wealth it makes up for in it's charm. Can honestly say this is the most addictive SHMUP I've ever played. For the price of approximately an hour's fun (the time it took me to get the game's one and only achievement) I'd say there are far worse places to bung a buck.1 found this helpful
The despair boss in hard mode is unbalanced. Over an hour and half of trying is unreasonable for not even being able to win. Good game besides that.
in My MIND., developed by P.S.B (iNsOoL) and published by PsychoFlux Entertainment, is a minimalist 2D shoot-’em-up that transforms arcade-style bullet dodging into a metaphorical confrontation with internal struggle. At first glance, it presents itself as a straightforward pixel-art action game, but beneath its simple mechanics lies a conceptual framework centered on battling manifestations of negative emotions. The result is a short yet thematically ambitious experience that blends reflex-driven gameplay with symbolic storytelling. The core gameplay follows classic shooter conventions. Players control a small on-screen avatar navigating a confined 2D space while firing projectiles and dodging incoming bullet patterns. Each stage introduces a different “emotion” embodied as a unique enemy encounter. These emotional adversaries—ranging from Anxiety and Fear to Guilt and Despair—are represented through distinct attack formations and movement behaviors. Rather than relying on traditional narrative exposition, the game communicates its themes through the structure of these encounters, encouraging players to interpret each battle as a psychological metaphor. its cool, fun little game its simple honestly shoot little laser things at boss while avoiding its attacks : you have one life then move onto the next boss ive had this game for a few years and still havent defeated the last one
This one is slightly carried by a really solid theme, the game play is basic and kind of infuriating at points. In a way though, that adds to the theme. It's very nice in that regard, being fighting negative mentality in a basic shooter that ends up being very short. I think I would give it around a 6/10. If you've played Touhou games a lot, this should be pretty easy.
A very good game for how low the price is. It's quite fun yet it doesn't get super difficult until the last few bosses. I highly recommend you buy this game, it's about as cheap as a candy bar after all.
