About Infinity Sweeper
Minesweeper gone rogue!
Infinity Sweeper takes the logic-driven satisfaction of classic Minesweeper and transforms it into an endlessly replayable roguelite adventure. The familiar grid remains - flagging mines, uncovering safe tiles and reading patterns - but you will quickly discover a whole new world of dangers, rewards and strategy. Clear the board, upgrade your toolkit and face new, evolving challenges that ramp up in difficulty.Relive this nostalgic classic, now maximized.Logic Meets Chaos
The rules of the game are simple. Uncover number tiles, avoid the mines and clear the board. As the grid grows, so do the challenges. Procedurally generated boards grow larger and deadlier with unique modifiers shifting the dynamics of gameplay. Boss battles every four stages will turn the usual gameplay into high stakes strategy.Build Your Toolkit
Earn gold as you clear each board and visit the shops to purchase upgrades. Tile upgrades introduce new elements to the grid. Permanent upgrades provide lasting advantages. Single-use cards add consumable effects that can save you in an emergency and turn the tide of the battle. Each boss you defeat will add traps to the pool - new hazards that increase complexity and require you to sharpen your pattern recognition and reshape your approach. Will you let logic or instinct win as the seconds count down?Mastery Through Progression
Each run opens up a world of new possibilities. Watch patterns emerge as you build up an arsenal of upgrades. Track your performance through detailed stats and feel the skill ceiling rise. Easy to learn, satisfying to experiment with and difficult to master completely.Key Features
- Procedurally Generated Grids - Every board is unique and demands a new way of thinking.
- Endless Roguelite Progression - Unlock upgrades after each run, discover tile modifiers and build your loadout.
- Upgrade Systems - Tile modifiers that change what appears on the board, permanent upgrades that shift gameplay dynamics and single-use cards for clutch moments.
- Boss Encounters - Timed challenges to test your speed, precision and nerve under pressure.
- Endless Replayability - No two runs are identical. Every turn provides an opportunity to learn from your failures and improve.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players are divided on whether this Minesweeper-based game successfully evolves the formula or simply adds cosmetic elements on top of familiar mechanics. Supporters praise its addictive, satisfying gameplay and flexibility for both short and long play sessions, especially for those new to the genre, while detractors feel it lacks sufficient roguelike depth and innovation to justify its price point, leaving them unconvinced the core experience is more engaging than the original game.
Very fun and challenging for players new to Minesweeper-style games like me. I really like that you can play for 20 minutes and pause, or go for hours straight and still have fun.2 found this helpful

I think this is one of the first times I've ever left a negative steam review but this game is painfully buggy. New boss can sometimes completely force a restart as you don't actually get to access a full half of the board. Another new boss just keeps persisting through every level so next boss level you have too bosses. It feels like the advice of the game being too easy was heard so they made it unplayable. Please don't buy until a year of development. Really has a lot of potential but should have a warning for early access. At least most players could finish cyberpunk on release, most runs just explode because of random bugs.
Two months of not a single update, they finally do one and it doesn't make the game any better. I played the update for less than an hour and two things stood out as broken to me. First: They added the ability to spend coins on upgrading your tiles, it doesn't work properly. You upgrade a tile but it doesn't show you the new effect (which is raising how many of said tile can spawn on the board) so I'm not sure if it works at all. Second: The boss challenges, I got one that randomly locks blank tiles so you can't click on it. When you're down to a handful, for example four blanks and one enemy to flag to win, they all just lock over and over again. That's just what I found in a few runs, who knows what else is broken or untested.
Extremely lackluster gameplay that doesn't have enough to separate this from base-game minesweeper. There are better rougelikes to dive into that are cheaper OR worth the actual advertised price.
