As we all know, a man will not do anything at all in his life unless there's a (chance of a) cute girl as a reward, so here is a game about five a little too bubbly waifus motivating you to do basic care tasks such as housekeeping and exercise. In the form of a five varied sets of puzzles. What else could you want? Ridiculous concept aside, it's actually pretty fun. The girls talk a little too much, but maybe that's just my personal taste; I sure like their designs, and they don't feel like your copy-and-paste anime archetypes, either (okay, maybe a little). It doesn't feel like you build any rapport with them though, and that's a bit of a shame. That said, the puzzles were pleasant - nothing groundbreaking, but not bad either - and, perhaps most importantly, the game actually motivated me to take a self-care day and clean up a little, and I feel fantastic. So hey, mission accomplished. Curator page

Ever needed an excuse to get out of bed and get rid of that weird smell in your room, or at least open the curtain? Inhabit has the answer. In this game, you get introduced to 5 different characters, each with their own amusing personality, all of whom have their own mini-games doing seemingly tedious tasks that get progressively harder. Even so, chores like dusting around the house, moving furniture around or cleaning the window are important things to do to encourage self-care and self-maintenance to improve your living status to escape from your slumber. Eventually, they may become a fun activity for you to do without being asked to do. Each character highlights this as well, as it is ok to have some down days (I'm sure everyone can relate) just as long as you get yourself back up and do whatever you can to manage your well-being. All of these characters offer a sense of optimism, which is something I really appreciate, to try to do some activity and go out, even if you're just going to the post office and back, as long as it is something you don't usually do that you can make a habit (see what I did there). I'm sure plenty of people will love this game even if they are goin…

I've stopped refunding games I don't like, unless the game really pissed me off. Guess what. This one did. First of all, a sokoban without an ability to go back one move is insane. One misstep = restart the whole level. Second, writing is god-awful, nowhere near Helltaker level. Might as well skip all dialogues. And finally, I spent like 10 minutes on a single level because I mistook a floor tile for the wall and didn't know you could move there. This is a design issue.

A small cute and cozy puzzle game. Not the biggest head scratcher but it's a good afternoon of entertainment.
