About Inner Voices

Tune yourself to the voices lurking in the head of John Blake - the tormented man dwelling in a trap… that only you can guide him out of.
You start your adventure by waking up in an unknown place, not remembering what happened and how you got there. Your only companion is a mystery voice that guides you through a previously unknown world and what’s more, is the only main factor that can reveal your past.
Inner Voices is an adventure game with a non-linear plot, procedurally generated user path and (more than) a pinch of the atmosphere of your favorite horrors.

To find out more about John Blake’s past, you will need to solve various logic puzzles and the only way to regain the memories is to follow the unknown voice in your head. You will be constantly searching for a way to escape the randomised maze of rooms, you will be haunted by new voices and you will be the one deciding… who dies.

WHAT IS SO UNIQUE ABOUT INNER VOICES?
- Non-linear storyline full of plot twists and choices, that may lead you to 5 different endings.
- Intriguing, disquieting gameplay due to the ever-changing randomized maze.
- Unique, dark atmosphere inspired by the works of H. P. Lovecraft, E. A. Poe and S. King.
- A climatic experience thanks to the moody soundtrack and audio design.
- Engaging puzzles with different levels of complexity.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…4 found this helpful
This game is a grab bag of stupid horror tropes. A tour of random horror settings? Yep. Silly horror creatures that appear behind you but can't actually hurt you? Yep. Bad voice acting? Yep. A mysterious narrator who isn't trying to trick you, swearsy-realsies? Yep. Uncovering your mysterious past that somehow led you to this point? Yep. A reveal that's maybe you're dead, maybe you're crazy? Yep. It's like you asked ChatGPT to generated a horror game based on the most over used and least compelling horror tropes. Except I doubt even ChatGPT would throw in the interrogation scene from Three Kings. Why would that be in here? Why not, none of the other choices they made make any sense.1 found this helpful

I liked it but it's be strongly better enjoyed in VR which is was built for than regualr control.
My honest opinion: - poorly developed - there needs to be more consistency in the atmosphere whilst going through the rooms (sometimes there's just boring silence, not even frightening silence) - when you change to fullscreen in the settings menu u can't use the settings menu properly anymore, so PRO TIP FOR EVERYONE: choose the resolution of your monitor/screen and keep it on windowed - there surely are some frightening events happening like random bangs and stuff that scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me, but then there are very cheap events like chairs flying around with a sound that makes it not scary at all anymore...it's just ridiculous - the riddles are too hard and too easy at the same time.... you have to have played the game to understand... the riddles themselves are kindergarden but then you wander around looking for clues and there are endless rooms of nothingness....so it's super hard to find the clues..... so all in all... IF YOU BUY THE GAME JUST BUY THE GAME ON SALE RIGHT NOW, it's not worth more than 99 cents. It has potential tho and I'd love to see updates on this game that make it better playable and enjoyable. Fix your settings menu please.....
I quite clearly bought this game based on the screenshots. DO NOT. Horrid. Rubbish. Endless loops. Find runes? Recall memories? I think i'll stay dead thank you.
