Into the Pyramid

Into the Pyramid is an abandoned beta test for a Unity based 2D top down multiplayer action/brawler game with cartoony graphics and an Egyptian theme. Gameplay consists of nothing, because there are no players. Resolution and controls are locked, it's multiplayer only with no single player content, apparently in the hopes the game would "go viral" despite having no notable value for gamers and no content to speak of. It failed. SteamDB shows the game peaked at a pitiful 8 concurrent players at launch and never recovered, player numbers dropped to zero immediately after. The developer abandoned the game less than 2 months after launching on Steam in a beta state. The game was incorrectly launched as "complete" instead of under the Early Access program where it belonged. It's unclear if this is due to incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. While this is free, it's understandably terrible and should be avoided by all.
