About Iron Dungeon
For fans of roguelike action games, Iron Dungeon offers an exhilarating combination of twin-stick shooting and 2D platforming, infused with roguelite elements. In this game, you will explore a perilous underground military complex that has reactivated and resumed production of combat clones. As one of these clones, your mission is to uncover a way to the surface and discover if there is still life on Earth. But with dozens of weapons, gadgets, and upgrades to find, and enemies to fight at every turn, the journey won't be easy.

Standing still is dangerous!
Dodge bullets and aim well to survive! Do not spare your enemies because you will receive precious shards that can be spent on improvements by defeating them.

Show precision and skill!
Activate platforms and jump boosters that will help you get to the most inaccessible corners of the underground maze to get the most valuable items.

You must always find out which maze you will find yourself in next!
Dozens of random items await you to help you survive and advance further. However, if you die, you must start from the beginning. And yes, no meta-progression, just your skill, and a little luck!

A nice game to play in spare time. Needs a lot of polishing, I've expected something more before the release, to be honest,.But there are some points which makes it a game worth playing: *Loads of character's modifiers; not a single playthrough will be the same as previous one, *New enemy type brought to You on every level, making the diversity plentiful, *Gadgets helping you either as Utility or Combat Items (offensive or defensive), both having strong impact on the run, *Random challenges during the run, bringing in higher reward, with a higher risk. It's Your choice to pick the gauntlet up, *Optimal and fun Enemy Spawn System, *Tactical gameplay early on, more and more action on consecutive levels, *Variety of weapons to choose from: skill- demanding, spammable chaotic or even dangerous to operate, *Killing in melee while shooting multiple enemies at once feels very satisfying; Many ways of getting more melee- oriented gameplay available, *Some builds are more viable against bosses, while other helps You clear regular levels- balance the modifiers wisely! *It's Your choice to play slower or more dynamically- You can exit the level earlier, or clear the whole floor for maximum r…10 found this helpful
Great little game. I would like to highlight that despite what the dev says this is a roguelike. There are no roguelite (meta progression) elements. If you like the idea of a modern take on Contra with some platforming elements thrown in, you'll love this game.8 found this helpful

Iron Dungeon is a science-fiction action roguelite developed and published by R_Games that combines twin-stick shooting mechanics, platforming movement, and randomized dungeon progression into an experience built around skill and persistence. Rather than relying heavily on cinematic storytelling or permanent progression systems, the game creates tension through challenge-driven design where improvement comes from player mastery rather than automatic upgrades. Every run becomes an opportunity to learn enemy behavior, improve movement precision, and adapt to increasingly dangerous situations inside a hostile underground facility. The setting introduces a bleak futuristic world where players awaken within a military complex buried beneath the surface of a ruined civilization. Automated systems continue functioning long after disaster has reshaped the world above, producing dangerous combat clones and transforming the underground structure into a deadly maze filled with enemies and hidden dangers. Players assume control of one of these clones, fighting to survive while gradually uncovering what remains of humanity and whether anything still exists beyond the facility itself. One of t…
