Island Market Simulator: Prologue is a relaxing little management game that I found quite enjoyable once I got into its routine. I start with a small market on an island and slowly work on turning it into a better business. What I liked most is that it is not just about standing behind a shop counter and selling things. Farming, animals, crafting, decorating and trading all connect together, so I always have something else I can work on when I am not serving customers. The farming system is one of the main parts of the game for me. I can grow different crops and then decide whether I want to sell them directly or use them as ingredients for other products. I liked having that choice because it makes my farm feel connected to the market instead of being a completely separate activity. The animals work in a similar way, giving me useful products that can either be sold or put into my own production. Crafting adds another layer to the whole process. There are different machines that let me turn basic resources into more valuable products, so I can slowly build up a supply chain rather than simply buying everything from somewhere else. Way to close to Old Market Sim, even the weird way of getting rid of boxes is the same by grinding them up. Factions are different but that's about the only thing I found that was different.
