家屋探索 -Japanese House Exploration-

The game is not super scary, but I was surprised by the beautiful story as it slowly unfolded. it has an "innocent" vibe that i found really nice, which mixed with horror gives a really interesting contrast. One of the puzzles was really difficult to descipher, though, and had to look for the answer somewhere else. Looking forward to the next ame of this dev.

I have lived as a foreigner in Japan for nearly 16 years so this effects my point of view while reviewing this game. I would definitely say this was a decent Japanese horror game. The graphics are clean and do not rely on gritty or smokey filters to create ambiance. The English translations at the beginning of the game are adequate, but slowly become worse the farther you get in the game. The story is intriguing and kept both me and my audience interested in knowing more. The puzzles are at a medium level of difficulty. I myself am not good at solving puzzles, and yet I was able to solve most of them with only a small hint from my viewers. Also, the chase scenarios were few and far between, but not annoying or absurdly hard. In fact, I would say they were quite fair and forgiving. I did experience one soft crash on my first play through during the opening dialogue. This was a bit frustrating as I was streaming to a live audience at the time. Overall, for this being, what I am assuming, was the developer's first game, it was a really charming. Man I was excited to play this one and usually I don't give bad reviews to indie games/solo devs but this game is poorly optimized. As soon as the game starts, my GPU ramps up to 99%. I got like 40 fps on "the highest settings and 47 fps on the lowest settings you can go. my RTX 3070 can't run this game.

I can't believe this is their first horror game they made! Story was amazing, there is nice jumpscared, I love the sounds effects and atomosphiere! Highly recommend! I can't wait for their future horror game!! とてもよかったです！

It's a bit convoluted at time but overall it was a fun game. I streamed it to my friends and we had a good time. The animal puzzle was really wonky but, for the price of the game, I can easily overlook small issues like that. I hope there will be a sequel. Also the footsteps SFX were really good haha

I really enjoyed this game. The puzzles were fun, it was spooky, and I didn't encounter any bugs. Loved the multiple endings too. Great job devs🥰
