Jected - Rivals

[h1] A quiet disaster [/h1] A couple of years ago, THQ held a showcase event. The event itself was pretty fine, but there were two announcements that caught my attention a lot more than the others. The two brand new racing titles. One of them was called [i]“Wreckreation”[/i] - an open world car sandbox with an emphasis on creation and destruction developed by some of the people who worked on the Burnout franchise. It came out in October of 2025, demonstrated underwhelming quality and not even a month later the developer studio got shut down. The second project was titled [i]“StuntFest”[/i]. A brand new take on the genre merging arcade racing with on-foot stunts. Running, jumping, using a wingsuit with thrusters to avoid the obstacles and take some risky shortcuts. Constantly jumping back and forth between an on-foot and behind-the-wheel action - all in thrilling PvP matches. How ironic… It’s not hard to figure out that [i]“StuntFest”[/i] ended up becoming what we now know as [i]“Jected: Rivals”[/i]. It looks good in the trailers but in game its a half finished game, unoptimized and doesnt have anyone playing it. It could be a good game but not many people play it and you cant unlock anything.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. The gameplay feels clunky and repetitive, and after a short time it becomes more frustrating than fun. On top of that, the game feels almost dead because it’s hard to find active players or enjoyable matches consistently. Another big issue is the lack of variety. The modes and servers feel extremely limited, so everything starts feeling the same very quickly. Overall, the game had potential, but in its current state it just feels empty, repetitive, and honestly not enjoyable at all.
