Jetpack Vacation

I thought there'd be more to it. You've got a bit of an island you can fly around, and 3 mini games. There's a shooting range that's really just a random assortment of targets. It'd of been more enjoyable if there was a method to the madness, but you're just picking a direction and flying around to shoot stationary targets that switch colors when you hit them. It's not terrible, but upon completing it I didn't have much of a desire to try it again. Next up is some online football/soccer(depending on your part of the world I suppose), and that fell pretty flat for me. None of my friends have the game, and it didn't seem as though there were any other players waiting either. The last is an obstacle course that says is under construction. A pity, as this was easily the most enjoyable part of the game. You fly through an obstacle course that consists of spinning wheels, fan blades, bouncing balls, etc. Flying itself is alright. You can pick up boosts to get you to fly a bit faster, but you really never really seem to gain any noticeable speed with them. The soccer match here is more Rocket League than Ultimechs... you just need a couple of friends to come play with you. Solo there's not much. With some friends, I could see it being a lot of fun.

What's here is great... but there's nothing here. Post-launch content was intended to fix that, but it's been 9 months and there hasn't been a single piece of new content added. Such a shame for a game that looked great in beta.

At this time, the game has an extremely weak player base for a multiplayer title. This game would thrive with a large player audience or if it offered skillful AI opponents at various degrees of difficulty to play against. It appears to be a well made and I believe it would be very fun to play against others but because the player base is so weak the game is pretty much unplayable in the arena. I believe this game should come to the PS5 when they release PS VR 2 and it might just become as popular as Rocket League! At least with the PS5 console there will be plenty of players to enjoy it as intended. I'll give it a weak recommendation because the potential is there. It's just that the player base is near non existent.
