About Jupiter-Saturn:testing convitcion
Plot
The story follows an eccentric scientist (the protagonist) and his companion, who have been abducted by agents acting on behalf of the state and are being pressured to defect to the country that kidnapped them. Depending on the choices made, the pace and direction of the plot will unfold in different ways. The backstory and other plot elements are revealed in small doses, leaving room for theories and providing motivation to keep playing in order to unravel all the mysteries. The visual novel is divided into three playthrough styles, each with its own ending.Negative – the pace is very fast, bloody, with a large number of scenes of violence and swearing, and also reveals secondary characters.Neutral – the pace is measured and calm, with a low or moderate (depending on the player’s choices) amount of violence and swearing, and it answers the main plot questions whilst focusing on the protagonist.Positive – the pace is faster than in the neutral mode, yet still more measured than in the negative mode. A minimal amount of violence and swearing. Over time, the story will increasingly focus on one of the secondary characters. The game’s plot is spread across multiple paths, meaning that to fully understand the story, it is not enough to play through just one ending. On the contrary – to do so, you must play through the game in its entirety to see all the endings.Visuals
The backgrounds and characters are hand-drawn, in a style that occasionally exaggerates proportions and presents the scene from a different angle. The selection buttons are stylised to match the scene.Animations are rarely present.Soundtrack

It feels like Saya no Uta, reimagined in space. With some Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet mixed in as well. Coming across this in recently released titles, and only $5, I think it is worth giving a try. . . If you have watched KKHTA, it is very similar stylistically. This VN has a feeling of curious humanity to it. The art style, although appearing rudimentary and basic, has soul. Dialogue is sprinkled with witty remarks, funny jokes, and comebacks, even when translated or adapted to English, adding levity to the heavy narrative. I did enjoy all the character's interactions. The game is a mix of religious and sci-fi themes in equal measure, and the characterization is strong. Also enjoyed how interactive certain scenes felt, not being a static background, but having to click on the screen in certain areas to advance, and seeing the result. However, my first path was long (3+ hours) to complete, and path branching was only available from the 1st hour, then none for the 2nd hour, and then merely a final choice in 3rd hour of playthrough. Reader engagement can waver with this structure. Even adding some smaller choices, that merely change brief dialogue branches, but n…2 found this helpful
