Kaiten is a roguelike tactical-strategy game. Spin the wheel with various move opportunities and develop your strategy based on the results. Build your deck with special perk cards purchased from the shop between sessions and empower your pawns! Achieve victory to unlock new rage abilities and opponents.Your pawns are your warriors on this battlefield, but they are only as strong as the perks you equip them with. Create a collection of powerful perk cards and devise devastating combinations that can change the course of battle.

While Kaiten has the bones of a great game, it is currently held back by significant bugs and a lack of clear progression. The core combat is decent, featuring a quick to learn tutorial while the class cards offer a satisfying level of strategic depth. However, the experience becomes stagnant after the initial battle; despite winning thrice, I encountered a total lack of unlocks for cards, maps, or bosses, and the UI provides no guidance on how to move forward. It feels like a hidden gem that is unfortunately stuck in place.1 found this helpful
